Serving King, Pierce, & Snohomish Counties

Kevin R. Cole is an experienced Seattle attorney who practices in the areas of speeding and traffic ticket defense, criminal law, simple wills and trusts, and personal injury law. He has been a lawyer for over 20 years, and he has represented clients in Washington State District, Municipal and Superior Courts, the Washington Court of Appeals, and the Washington Supreme Court. He regularly travels to courts in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.

Fees

For a typical speeding infraction case in King, Pierce, or Snohomish County, Kevin charges $200.00, and he waives his fee if, at the contested hearing, the Court enters an order finding that his client committed a speeding infraction. He does not waive his fee if the speeding ticket is dismissed, or if it is amended to a non-moving violation, or if the case is resolved with a deferred finding. Kevin's fee for traffic ticket defense is higher in other counties that are farther from his office.

Kevin's fees in criminal cases depend on the nature of the charge and the amount of work he anticipates the case will require. Kevin has defended persons against allegations ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies, and he has also worked on capital cases.

For personal injury cases, Kevin's attorney fee is typically one-third of his client's total monetary recovery.

Kevin charges $300 to draft a simple will without testamentary trust provisions; if there are testamentary trust provisions, then his fee increases.
